What we do

Five services. One accountable builder.

Whether you are starting from an empty lot, adding room to the home you love, or reworking a space that no longer fits, CDG takes the project on as a whole — so you are not coordinating it yourself, piece by piece.

Discuss your project
  • 01

    Residential

Construction for the places people live — built around how a household actually uses its home, day in and day out.

    Homes & living spaces
  • 02

    Commercial

Construction for business spaces, planned around how the space needs to work for staff, customers, and day-to-day operations.

    Business & work spaces
  • 03

    New Homes

Ground-up homes, from the first plans to the final walkthrough — a new home built as a single, coordinated project.

    Built from the ground up
  • 04

    Additions

More room without moving: extra bedrooms, expanded living areas, and added space that fits the home you already have.

    Grow the home you have
  • 05

    Renovations

Rework what is already there — kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, and interiors brought up to date and made to work better.

Owner's Representative

For landlords & management companies: someone on your side who knows construction.

CDG also acts as an owner's representative for landlords and management companies — stepping in on the projects that go beyond day-to-day building work, and representing the owner through them.

Supers and property managers are already busy with their regular jobs. When a larger or more complex project comes up, they often don't have the time — or the background in that kind of construction — to manage and oversee it on top of everything else. CDG fills that gap, so the project is overseen by someone who understands the work.

  • 01
Overseeing the contractor Managing and overseeing the contractor and the work, on the owner's behalf — so it isn't left to staff whose experience is routine maintenance.
  • 02
Fire restoration Coordinating the restoration work a damaged building needs, from assessing what has to be done through to the finished repair.
  • 03
Insurance claims & financing Understanding the insurance claim, what it covers, and how the restoration work gets financed and paid for through it.

Expert Witness Testimony

When construction litigation needs someone who has done the work.

Construction litigation often comes down to questions only a builder can answer: Was the work done properly? Did it match the plans and the agreement? What will it take — and cost — to put it right? Mark assists in any construction litigation, providing expert witness testimony on construction matters, drawing on hands-on experience across residential and commercial building, renovations, additions, and restoration work.

This is work Mark has already done, retained and paid as an expert witness. He understands what attorneys and decision-makers need: a clear, grounded opinion, supported by the records and the work itself — delivered without jargon.

  • 01
Reviewing the matter Reading the plans, contracts, photographs, invoices, and correspondence to understand what was agreed, what was done, and where the two differ.
  • 02
Inspecting the work Examining the building or the finished work firsthand, so an opinion rests on what is actually there — not only on paper.
  • 03
Testifying and assisting counsel Explaining findings in clear, plain language — in a written opinion or in testimony — and assisting attorneys with the technical questions at the heart of the case: the work, how it should have been done, and what it would cost to correct it.

How we work

Straightforward, from first call to final walkthrough.

Every project is different. The way we work through it is not: one conversation at a time, with a clear picture of the scope before building begins.

1

Free consultation

Call or write and tell us what you are planning. We listen first, and answer your questions honestly.

2

Scope & plan

We go over the site and the work involved, so the project is defined before anyone starts building.

3

Build

The work is carried out as one coordinated project — residential or commercial, new build, addition, or renovation.

4

Walkthrough

We review the finished work together. CDG offers a satisfaction guarantee on the work we do.

Why CDG

One call. The whole project.

Bring to your consultation

Anything you have helps. If you do not have it yet, that is fine too — the consultation is where the project takes shape.

  • The property address and what you would like to change or build
  • Photos of the existing space, if it is a renovation or addition
  • A rough sense of timing, and of budget if you have one in mind
